Intel® EP80579 Software for Linux* SRTP Acceleration Driver: Note1.0 OverviewThis document is provided for Intel® EP80579 Integrated Processor with Intel® QuickAssist Technology users who want to understand the modified version of LibSrtp with the SRTP Acceleration Driver.The aim of this document is to supply the end user with an overview and understanding of the LibSrtp patch, including changes made to the LibSrtp library to operate with the EP80579 integrated processor software. This information enables the reader to use the software and modify their own implementation of an SRTP stack to use EP80579 integrated processor software.2.0 Architectural InformationThe modified LibSrtp contains the SRTP Acceleration Driver interface. Once the SRTP Acceleration Driver is loaded, it provides an interface to the Lookaside Crypto Access Layer component and converts requests from the LibSrtp application to Intel EP80579 Software for Security Applications on Intel QuickAssist Technology Cryptographic API calls.
