Per a Deloitte survey of government officials from over 70 countries, nearly 70% feel they lag behind the private sector. Hence, government leaders seek partnerships for capacity-building on emerging technologies for good governance and robust policymaking.

Smart Africa Digital Academy, in collaboration with Intel, conducts a series of capacity-building workshops for decision-makers and government officials that educates them about AI and 5G technology and empowers them through regular workshops to start developing plans for their own countries.
Indian Government boosts digital readiness among leaders
The Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India in collaboration with UNDP and Intel, launched Digital India Dialogues - an initiative to upskill Government leaders to drive informed policymaking and enriched decision-making. To date, the initiative has empowered officials from 39 Ministries across the Central and State governments.
